If ever a parallel universe exists in this world, it should be social media. That’s because social media has always been full of superficial images that don’t reflect the real world. Almost all lives are portrayed in an edited way, including the blissful lives of pet owners.
While raising pets is rewarding, its unglamorous side (like picking poops and ripped sofas) are often hidden away from the limelight. However, a couple had enough of this trend and decided to expose the side of pet caring that nobody else wants to discuss (and post).
While many people have already seen countless images of pet owners sleeping with their pets blissfully, this couple decided to film what really happens when humans sleep with their pets.
The couple started filming their mini-documentary as they lay down on the bed to sleep. And this is where the reality of sleeping with dogs would be revealed. While many believe that it’s always a blissful experience to sleep with these furry creatures, the video shows that, sometimes, it isn’t.
Less than a minute after the couple peacefully lay down in bed, their dog immediately licked their faces and walked all over the bed, not minding if their sleep would be interrupted or not. After that, the dog might have felt that these actions might be too irritating for his parents. That is why he decided to behave for a while. Yes, for a while.
Come 2 a.m, when his human dad decided to take a quick trip to the bathroom, the lovely furry dog sneaked into the bed to sleep beside his human mom. Fortunately, the dad was able to redeem his place on the bed.
But the dog’s antics haven’t ended yet, and his constant interruption in his human parents’ sleep stretched until 6 a.m! That is why his dad decided to bring him outside the room for a while (and close the door). In that way, the furry sleep-buster won’t be able to interrupt their sleep.
The peace only lasted for two minutes. With the dog’s continued nagging on the door, the dad gave in and immediately let their beloved dog in, and fortunately, their dog has ‘allowed’ them to have a full sleep they deserve after. But on one condition, of course: only if he could sleep beside them on their bed.
