Lee shared the importance of having a routine while traveling on the road and not having a permanent residence. Lee recalled that he and Luke take their dogs out for a 30-45 minute hike so the pups could burn their excess energies.
Lee, Luke, and their dogs have been living their lives as nomads when they came across a dog-friendly location in Tahoe during their travels. Lee and Luke rented the house for quite some time when they realized that it was the perfect place to call home.
Lee and Luke eventually decided to talk to their landlord about buying the house they were renting. Fortunately, the owner agreed and sold the property to them.
Lee admitted that everyone thinks that he and Luke are crazy for traveling with six dogs in tow, but they know that it is not enough. Lee and Luke decided to rescue another dog at the shelter named Tony.
Lee shared that Tony has been locked up in the shelter for too long, so they agreed to take him out of the pound. Lee said that Tony looked bigger than Luke and was surprised to see that the chubby German Shepherd could still walk despite how heavy he is.
Lee and Luke said that they only planned on adopting Tony, but they knew they had to bring home the other two pups that they met at the shelter.
