Jolene knew that she had to save Tad and give him the home that he deserved. She wanted Tad to have a safe and fun environment with dogs around him, so she decided to adopt Tad.
When she went to the shelter to pick him up, Tad immediately came right up to her and melted in her embrace. Jolene said that it felt like their hearts met, and became each other’s home after their first meeting.
She did not want Tad nor her pack of dogs to feel overwhelmed, so she decided to let Tad meet her pitulls one at a time. Jolene shared that her dog Emmi was particularly sweet with Tad as they first met.
The leader of her pack, Daisy, played differently with Tad. However, Daisy’s bossiness did not stop Tad from teasing her from time to time.
Tad and Po seek each other out 24/7, and they were completely inseparable. Tad eventually learned what love means, kissing, hugging and having fun. But he sadly passed away.
Jolene noticed that her dogs were depressed when Tad passed away because his playfulness was gone, and the house was quiet. She wanted her dogs to feel better and to honor Tad for everything that he had given the whole family, so she decided to rescue another pitbull, little Minnow.
Minnow made everyone feel so much happier. Actually, Jolene believes Tad sent Minnow to them. Jolene admitted she became a stronger care giver for all her dogs, and that she would not be able to do all she does without little Minnow.
