Takis, a man of fast decisions, is driving along a country road. On his way to a meeting he spots a dog on the road side, sending out telegram messages to him with eager vibrations. I’m here. Take me !. I want to come to you. I don’t want to be left out.
Dogs are intelligent, amazingly intelligent. Also stubborn to keep going until it works out. Being the intelligent Doggy he is, he of course spotted an important person to focus on. Tsakis stops the car.
The dog tries to reach as close as possible to him, clawing the car door. Take Me ! Can I join ? You look nice. Takis checks the overly eager dog out. The dog goes to the other side of the car but can’t get up to the window. Tsakis opens the door and the dog hops resolutely inside as if it was his own car, and as if this was his last chance. And then, immediately rolls out a big seduction party on the man. He is also quite anxious. Will this work ?
Tsakis is the founder of Tsakis Shelter Non Profit in Crete, Greece and a passionate animal lover. What a perfect pick if you are down and out Doggy.
Falling in love only takes a few seconds. It’s obvious the two bond quickly right there, Tsakis being a decisive person and a man of action. But more so, one can hear on the tone of his voice and in his down to earth words, the heart and generosity he possesses. You are welcome my boy.
A man larger than life, Tsakis. At the moment, it turns out, Tsakis is caring single-handedly for about 400 dogs in his hughe olive grove turned animal shelter for free roaming, happy dogs. No doubt the man and the dogs need help and support from outside. Here is a donate link should you want to chip in: https://takisshelter.org/donate.
Now this hitch hiking Doggy is out of the rat race, right then and there, at last. He is pretty skinny.
Tsakis thinks he is about 6 months old. Beautiful boy. Certainly he will get a nice name to be proud of, too. Good pick, Doggy and perfect seduction display. Well done Doggy. You deserve all the love in the world. Let’s go home ! We think this Doggy will give back to his savior and his pack. Wath here how Doggy did it. Not bad for a stray. God Bless the two of them.
Later on we found out that his new name is Hitch. On top of that he soon was welcomed into a loving forever-home in Austria.
