Two Golden Retrievers and a toddler are going viral again. This time their scheme is to get toddler Chloe out of a closed bedroom to partner with them before the parents get up. The goal is extra snacks !
Toddler Chloe is only 15 months old but she is totally comfortable being friendly nudged and licked in the face to wake up from her sleep by the two enormous Golden Retrievers. They trust her more than anybody else to collaborate with them. The Golden Retrievers know where the snack is and who is willing.
They are now always hanging out with her. Especially and very consistently since they’ve figured out that when she is sitting in her high chair with food in front of her, she will purposefully pitch some down to them. Perfect example of how children and pets tune in to each other naturally.
Now Chloe has grown tall enough to reach into the doggy food bin. The Golden Retrievers have also figured out how to get extra snacks before the house wakes up, partnering with her.
They know how to open Chloe’s bedroom door without making any noise. The Golden Retrievers cheerfully nudge her a few times to get some action. They lead the way to the dog food stash. Little Chloe hops resolutely out of bed. She is just as quick on her feet as the dogs. Toddler has done this before. This is great fun, let’s go for it.
Chloe’s mum caught the toddler wandering one early morning in the hall and could not believe how she had been able to open the bedroom door by herself. The whole scheme was discovered as mum decided to video tape Chloe’s bedroom. To her amazement mum discovers the trio committing the nearly perfect crime and having great fun doing it. Perfectly in tune without speaking a word and shamelessly.
It’s not because you are only 15 months old or a Golden Retriever that you can’t be running the show. No reason to hold back. Catch a glimpse of how fine-tuned they are, check them out in the video below.
